Bone Mineral Densitometry

Osteoporosis, which occurs because of loss of bone mass, especially in women over the age of 45, is only measured with a Bone Densitometer. To determine the risk of bone fragility, the benefit of having a Bone Densitometer, which measures bone density, starting from the premenopausal period, is known if there is no different clinical reason. Bone Densitometry is recommended especially for those with previous and unexplained bone fractures, a sedentary lifestyle, long-term use of cortisone-containing drugs, and those with kidney and liver failure.


The electrocardiogram measures electrical activity by connecting wires to the patient’s chest, arms, and legs, placing the heart in the middle. Electrocardiogram is the oldest method used in diagnosis of disease. It plays an important role in the diagnosis of the patient’s heart attack, coronary artery occlusion (angina pectoris), diseases of the heart muscle (infections, infiltrations), diseases of the heart membrane (pericarditis and water collection of the heart membrane), arrhythmia. It also helps in the diagnosis by showing the typical changes in the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. Unfortunately, many reasons other than the heart distort the EKG and make it look like heart disease. Echocardiography – Stress Echo

ECHO reveals the anatomy of the heart because of ultrasonography of the heart, that is, by sending sound waves and reflecting them from blood cells. However, since it is made to the beating heart, it can easily find its functions. It shows the pump function of the heart (the amount of blood beats with each beat) or the diastolic function of the heart, that is, its flexibility. Apart from this, it shows the structure of the great vessels (aorta and pulmonic artery), the structure of the heart muscle, the structure of the heart valves and their thickening (stenosis or insufficiency). In addition, the formation of clots in the heart shows the amount of fluid in the thickness of the heart membrane. Primary tumors are very rare and usually occur on the right side of the heart. ECO is very useful in finding them. In addition, it is the most important method in determining how much blood leakage from a hole is in finding heart holes and other anomalies

The new generation SOMATOM Force Computed Tomography system allows coronary CT Angiography to be taken without the need for the use of beta-blockers independent of heartbeat, thanks to the return of double tube double detector technology and completing one full turn in 0.25 seconds.

FAST 3D Camera, a first in the world, detects the patient’s location in 3 dimensions with an infrared light source. In this way, the system automatically positions the patient on the patient table independently of the user. With this feature, which belongs only to FAST technology, patients are not exposed to overdose that may occur due to incorrect positioning with respect to the center of gravity.

Thanks to the software iMAR, which is used to increase the image quality when scanning patients with metal implants, the glare effect caused by metal is reduced. The exercise ECG measures the electrical activity of the heart during exertion, and the need for blood flow to the coronary vessels increases while the patient exerts a standard effort in the gradually accelerating and rising band. Holter (Blood Pressure and Rhythm)

Blood pressure and heart rate are measured for a long time by wearing a blood pressure or EKG Holter on the patient for a day or longer. Generally, blood pressure elevations are directly proportional to the lifestyle of the patient. Likewise, arrhythmias occur at certain times depending on the lifestyle of the patient. Therefore, wearing a Holter shows blood pressure values (high or low) and rhythm disorders that cannot be detected during the examination.
